Finally, here are the photos of one of the finished baby sweaters.
This is a view of the front. I modified the pattern and made the right sleeve and front matching white, and I used the white for trim as well.




And I used antique buttons to trim instead of crochet buttons. Somehow these just seem more sturdy, and hopefully this sweater will be passed on to subsequent siblings.
