Drake Rocks!

So for anyone who has peaked and was wondering I started to upload my photos from the Jenny Gear concert in Toronto. It was certainly hectic getting there, getting a car, trying not to go insane at work, the threat of Hurricane Isabel...driving in the weather, driving in Toronto, finding parking in Toronto! But everything worked out really well. We made it in lots of time to the concert. It was upstairs of the. Rancho Relaxo bar on College street. When we arrived standing outside is none other than Ryan Malcolm. Len and I made our way up these very narrow stairs to be greeted by a hugely smilin' Richie Wilcox. (He was in charge of the door.) And he is just as cute in person as he appeared on TV. So we go in and as we start crossing to the bar, we see one Canadian Idol Contestant, then another, then another.It was kinda cool everyone turning up to suport Jenny like that. Nice to see. All the judges except for Sass Jordan turned up and so did Jon Dore. He told me that ever since appearing on the show not only are young women after him but also old women, old men, men in makeup, men in clown makeup and clowns.
Jenny's actual show was fantastic. She's an amazing singer! It was great to hear some "new" songs of hers. Duanne Andrews was great too.
We ran into Zack after the show outside, he showed up afterwards. He was pretty funny actually. He was standing with Jenny and Ryan and I thought it would make a neat pic, so I asked him and he says, "what are people just walking around Toronto with cameras now!" He then tried to deak the photo. So I put him in his place and made him stay put! (I think he was just trying to let Jenny and Ryan have their glory)
All in all it was a pretty fun night. The place while packed was very small and intimate. (For some of the show we stood near the back and some we wandered up to the front.) I felt like it was a big coming out party for my knee or something after being so restricted for so long!
