Happy New Year and Welcome 2005!

As expected we had a pretty great holiday. Between birthdays on both sides (six!!), visits from 3 Great Grandparents, a Great Aunt (hi Auntie Phyl!) and Christmas we put many km's on the van. Poor little Caleb! He's such a trooper. We had so much last minute shopping to do, then visiting, I think he thought his carseat was his new home! He was awesome though, always more than happy to sleep while we fought snarls of traffic, and crazy weather.

Everything has settled back down again. We had our first family New Year's Eve together. Stayed home, watched the downtown fireworks, ate chips, drank pop (gasp!) and remembered it all the next day!

Today we finally wrapped up the last of Christmas when Jamie, Jason, Keyzia, Ephraim dropped by for a belated gathering. I gave the kids the costume box I had made for them. I'm pretty sure it was a hit. Both kids played in it and even dressed up Jason a little. Poor Ephraim though, he just doesn't get battery operated toys! He was a little scared by Caleb's touch and crawl Winnie-the-Poo. I guess he just doesn't get the concept that a toy can move and talk of its own volition!

So, thats my quick dish. I've left tonnes out, unfortunately, but I've got a little baby sleeping on my lap who really should be upstairs not down in a cold dark basement!
