What fun! I really can't believe that Caleb is a year old.  Its so easy to reminisce about this time last year.Waking up at 2 am Sunday, waking Len trying to figure out if it really was time.According to our doctor, that wasn't until Monday morning...well I guess she clued Caleb in because he certainly hung in there.
He's such a lovey boy. He gives me big hugs when I come home from work.  He now says Momma, Da. Oh and get this his third word, I swear I don't know where he learned this....sh*t. And he even used it at the appropriate time. Sheesh! It starts already. He's taking steps...when he feels like it. But for the most part crawling and edging along furniture works just fine for him.  Christmas is going to be a riot, you might want to think twice about buying anyone, anything breakable!  He had a great birthday. He's already had two birthdays parties with another coming this weekend.
He's such a blessing, he makes us want ten more just like him. He's so happy at home, so easy going. Outside the house he takes everything in with his big blue eyes, watching everything so closely. His Nana calls him clever, and I wouldn't disagree. He picked up my hairbrush a while back and started brushing his hair.  He "calls" his Gramma Rader all the time on his playphone.  I love the way he looks at everyone and gets excited when he sees his family. When he was an infant Len told someone that now that we have Caleb we can't believe we waited so long, and that person replied then we wouldn't have had Caleb. So here's to our little boy, Happy Birthday, Caleb!
