I've snuck down to the dungeon for a quick bit so I can finally post quickly about our weekend in Toronto.
Cheers to Ross and Amanda for not backing out of the visit when the heard they would have no water for the weekend! ACK!!  Peeuuuu!

With no toilet flushing, Caleb was happy that he wears diapers thats for sure.
We had a great visit and as you can see from the video Caleb and Amanda shared some sparkling conversation.

Amanda liked her birthday gift a knitted hotwater bottle cozy.  If you like the idea, email Rachel for the pattern.
Friday was COLD! but that was not going to stop Amanda and I from checking out her neighborhood. Well, really Amanda showing off her great neighborhood.
If your in that area make sure you stop at the Repeat Boutique (416.760.7126 - 710 Annette)...a second hand store with beautiful finds, good quality, quite chic but amazing prices!
The next stop on Annette was Little Lola's...a yummy mummy's dream shop. They carry tin toys and games, nostalgic books, pictures and wooden items, Anne Geddes baby clothes, this and this. They were so thick and fluffy! And how can I forget these, they had one "for boys" and "one for girls" I'm pretty sure Amanda and I touched everything in the store, at least twice! We left the store with a pretty long wishlist I can say that for sure.
So thats that. :)  We're packing up again....this time off to Pontypool. Auntie Tannys and her two girlfriends Suzie and Nancy are coming Thursday until Monday. Its going to be a wild weekend, with Ikea, Port Hope, wine, Coronation Street [ its just not as much fun watching it alone :( ] more wine, oh, and did I mention wine?!
    See you in March.

View Article  So much on the go so little time....
I thought I was busy before but just the past couple weeks things have really exploded.
Knitting wise....I've finished a cute little project for Amanda which I can't tell you about until she gets it in the mail. Better late than stuck in a snowbank, I always say! I'm working on a baby blanket for someone. Not knitting but crocheting, sc and dc. Great for working on when visiting and watching tv etc. The pattern is simply dc in the sc below, sc, and repeat all the way across for whatever the desired width and height. I've been coaching Gavin's girlfriend Heather. Also, we spent about an hour and half at Yarn Ewetopia. She treated me to some beautiful aqua cotton. I very easily talked her into a spider web like yarn, some bamboo. And she felt it necessary to add a few other little items.

Down in The Dungeon....I've signed up to help with a questionnare to assess the status of the Family Support Group. Whether, the group should be split, perhaps separating "depression" into a separate group. Or different nights, different focus? Let me know what you think. Also, we have to get rolling on the newsletter. We will have a new column this time written by Len about his experiences. I've also received the materials for Bob's Painting & Decorating, so watch your mailboxes!

On the Soapbox.....Len and I will be part of an Early Psychosis Intervention panel at a conference to be held at the end of March, co-hosted by the Schizophrenia Society, Peterborough chapter. We will be speaking on the Friday, I believe the 31st. The general public is invited to come out on the Saturday, so maybe we'll see you there.

Next Blog....Knitter Critters, Open Your Mind, and Pictures! I hope!!!
