Spring is finally springing! The sun is shining and bringing out the musty smell of the earth. Before long the flowers will be blooming, but until then its hard to resist these cute, little crochet flowers. Make them up and fasten them to coats, ponchos, hats, purses, scarves, curtains...let your imagination run wild!

Home fashions don't always mean having to break the bank for a little style. Here's a way to have fashionable space and help the planet at the same time.
Ask a carpet store for any samples they would be willing to part with or are planning on discarding. Don't worry about similar colours just try to find a mix of colours that work well together. Also, don't be afraid of smaller pieces, they will allow you play a little more with your pattern.
Lay them out on your floor until you get them assembled in a pleasing fashion.
As you tape, push the pieces snug against each other to create tight seams.

So I've finished and delivered my crocheted baby afghan.  Apparently Harper loves it. He also received the sweetest little knitted, baby blue sweater from us as well. Babies can never have enough knitted items! I've been working like mad on some other crocheted items to sell this spring. I'll have some pictures of Caleb modelling them as soon as I download (sound familiar?) I may have to start charging for Caleb's modelling services, I have some pictures for Auntie Amanda, as well!
