Springtime is not only the time of flowers blooming but it also seems appropriate for families blooming and baby showers. With two babies to make a gift for, one on the way and one "early", this seemed the perfect pattern. Its a little odd to work entirely in one piece but it should work up rather cute. Besides it warranted the opportunity to expand the crochet hook collection from 3 to 6!
