They say necessity is the mother of invention. So Len and I have, out of necessity created ourselves a nice studio style bedroom. We've pulled out of the bedroom leaving Caleb on his own...gulp! Yes, he's got his own room now, and he just loves it. The first night he just kept running from the living room through our room and into his. All of his toys are in there so we've reclaimed the living room, and its actually kinda bare, now that we've moved out the toys and packed up Christmas. 
Our room is the front living room, where the front door is, so we are retraining everyone to go around to the back door. Sorry, only the pizza guy is allowed to use the front door!  Jamie and I also took a major trip to Ikea looking for dressers, but alas, it was not meant to be. So we bought other stuff. I picked up a Babord shoe rack and Babord coat rack to help with the bedroom transition. Caleb got a Pyre and a Ris, (because Len broke his super ugly one that came with the apartment when we moved our bed.)
And as of this weekend we've also picked up two dressers from  a used furniture shop. One long, low one with a mirror for me and a taller dresser for Len. We are going to paint them and probably change the hardware, but not until we finalize the colours for the bedroom. So I'm looking for inspiration.....I'm contemplating red dressers...lemme know what you think!
