or maybe they are with me. I guess it depends upon which way you look at it. Maybe they are trying to extend my holiday from the "real world" maybe they are trying to drive me mad! I say the gods because God probably is too busy right now as well as why would He bother to cause such minor chaos, so instead I say the gods are against me!

We arrived back in Peterborough on Thursday to find that our phone service has been out since the day we left. Thank you to the painters for knocking down our telephone wires. Also, many thanks to the landlady for checking our phone line to make sure that Bell fixed the phone for all the tenants. I won't even get started on why Bell saw two wires going in to the box, cut both and only replaced one! So, for now we wait.

Then, I decide to email one and all to let them know we are not snubbing them, and we did miss them, and to email others that we survived our train travels and arrived safe in Peterborough.  Alas, I cannot access my messenger account for some reason. No problem, I will log in right away and get a new password. Funny, I cannot load the pages I need from the Microsoft website. Fine, I will email from my work address. I open a new mail window and start typing....strange nothing happens, no words.  Then a window pops up, my memory is full. Ok then, I start deleting files, cookies, history, temp files and emptying my trash can. Still won't work. Ok, now I'm stuck, I call Kevin our computer guy. It's 1:30, he says he'll call me back right away....he doesn't.

Now I'm home, in an attempt to find my cell phone charger I finish unpacking. As I finish the final bag I realize my cellphone charger is in my conference bag hanging up in Ian's bedroom....in Ottermere. Oh yah, did I mention my battery is dead.
